- Introduction
This plan actually tests the effect of the idling of cars and motorcycles. The results show that the car idling consumes about 0.1 grams of gasoline per second, while the motorcycles idling is about 0.05 grams.
The flameout at idling has a positive effect on cars and motorcycles, which can not only reduce fuel consumption, but also reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and other pollutants. Even because of the reduction in the use of air-conditioning, the benefit to the vehicle's idling flameout is quite obvious.
However, frequent switching will have a greater burden on the battery and the starter motor. However, due to the lack of test data and original factory resources, it cannot be directly determined that the life span of the battery and the starter motor will be shortened.
